Glamping Knot is a one-group-per-day site set in a sawtooth-oak grove at 440 m elevation in Daisen, Tottori, created by a photo studio based in Izumo and Matsue. Its roughly 20-tatami tent, among the largest in the San'in region, looks out over Yumigahama beach below and a sky filled with stars, and the 40-square-meter room with a private deck sleeps up to five. Dinner is a starlit BBQ in the forest, from roast-beef starters to San'in morning-caught seafood, Daisen chicken and domestic beef, rice balls of Tottori starry-sky rice and Daisen ice cream. A wood-stove Finnish-style sauna added in 2024 offers self-loyly, followed by a spring-water cold bath, and the deck has an open-air bath fed by Knot's Yui-sui spring water from 65 m underground. It is about 40 minutes by car from Yonago Airport and 15 minutes from the Daisen or Mizoguchi IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
