A cottage let as a whole house at 800 metres inside Daisen-Oki National Park, at Daisen in Daisen Town, Saihaku District, Tottori. It is run by Hotel Daisen Shirogane, 200 metres away on foot.
The building is a large two-storey house sleeping up to 21. There are five rooms: three bedrooms and two tatami rooms. Three shower booths and one bathroom are provided, with a toilet on each floor. Upstairs is an IH kitchen with a rice cooker and microwave kept on hand, enough for straightforward cooking.
The windows take in the Daisen landscape, and view and interior read as one. Booked in advance, options can be added: BBQ at 3,300 yen per person, a stone-oven pizza kit at 2,600 yen for two, and breakfast.
There is a 55-inch monitor and free Wi-Fi. The cottage works as a base for climbing Mount Daisen, touring the San'in coast, or skiing at Daisen White Resort. Rates start around 70,000 yen including tax for the house with up to ten guests.
