A whole-rental ocean-resort villa in Ushimado, Okayama (often called 'Japan's Aegean'), just five seconds' walk from the water's edge. LACOSTA is a whole-rental ocean-resort villa in the Ushimado district of Setouchi, Okayama, a coastal area of scattered islands and a mild climate often called 'Japan's Aegean.' It sits on a hidden beach just five seconds' walk from the shore and takes only four groups a day. Each designer villa faces the sea, with a first-floor living space, a private terrace and dedicated dining area where BBQ is possible even in the rain, and a second-floor shower room and ocean-view Jacuzzi. Rooms are fitted for short self-catering stays (fridge, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, cookware and tableware), and some now include a private tent sauna. Dinner is a bring-your-own BBQ of Seto Inland Sea seafood and Okayama wagyu, or a prepared BBQ dinner set and breakfast box, and activities such as SUP, kayaking and yoga are available with local partners.
