Relax Fujino is a satoyama glamping site in Fujino, Sagamihara, Kanagawa, produced by the florist Hibiya-Kadan. Set in what is called the satoyama closest to central Tokyo, it offers sweeping mountain views by day and a sky full of stars at night. Rooms are 6 m dome tents of about 28 m², available in a rug-floored Western style ("Fujino no Asagiri / ECRU") and a tatami Japanese style rare for glamping ("Fujino no Yozora / RURI"), each with air conditioning, a kotatsu and a private deck of over 100 m² facing the valley. Meals are chef-supervised dishes made with seasonal Fujino produce, served full-service, with BBQ, smoking and campfires also on offer. Bathing is via the on-site shower or partner hot springs such as Fujino Yamanami Onsen, about five minutes away. It is about 10 minutes by car from the Sagamiko IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
