Dome-tent glamping in a remote spot ringed by the Tsurugi mountains (home to the second-highest peak in western Japan) in Mima, Tokushima. The well-insulated domes are cool in summer and warm in winter, with four single beds, and a roofed, curtained BBQ space beside each dome lets you barbecue even in the rain. Meals are a Tokushima regional-cuisine BBQ course centred on hirara-yaki, where a whole amego fish is grilled on a bed of miso, and a bring-your-own-ingredients plan is also available. For bathing, guests can use the adjoining Tsuruginoyu Ozakura bathhouse and sauna, with a cold bath fed straight from the upper Anabuki River and an outdoor cooling area facing the mountains. It is about an hour by car from the Wakimachi IC and 20 minutes from Anabuki Station.
