A villa-style glamping site in Tozawa, Yamagata, set against the seasonal scenery of the Mogami gorge. The standalone container-style rooms let you spend time as if living in a private holiday home, and come in three types: type A (3-4 guests, with sauna), type B (2 guests, with sauna) and type C (2 guests, no sauna). Type A and B rooms have their own private sauna, and dinner is a hearty barbecue built around locally sourced ingredients, with room-only stays also available. By car it is about 40 minutes from JR Shinjo Station and Shonai Airport, and about 80 minutes from the Higashine IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
