On a 140-meter hilltop at the Hannan Sky Town lookout green in Hannan, Osaka, this is Osaka's first large-dome glamping site. Its 16 units come in six types overlooking Osaka Bay, all booked privately and climate-controlled: one of Japan's largest 10-meter domes, the Sky Grande (up to 10), plus units with an outdoor jacuzzi, a private barrel sauna, a summer-only pool, and a cocoon tent for staying with dogs. Each has a private garden and its own toilet, shower and all-weather dining space. The view takes in central Osaka, Kansai International Airport, distant Awaji and the Kobe night skyline, and sunsets chosen among Japan's 100 best. Dinner is a glamping BBQ of Senshu-area produce such as Naniwa Kuroushi sirloin and Senshu water eggplant, with a bring-your-own room-only plan and a winter chicken-hot-pot plan, plus welcome free drinks, a shared tent sauna and bouldering. The four dog-friendly Dog Garden cocoon tents have a private dog run in the courtyard. It is about an hour by car from central Osaka.
