Glamping Resort Kumamoto Yoshimuta is a private five-cabin resort on the Yoshimuta Highlands at about 700 m elevation in Mifune, Kumamoto. From the highland you can look out over the night lights of Kumamoto city beside a flickering bonfire, and the cabins offer up to 70 sqm of private area (among the largest in Kyushu) in three types: Standard Cabins (two units, up to 6 guests), Suite Cabins (two units, up to 7) and a dog-friendly Suite Cabin with a private dog run (one unit, up to 7). Every cabin has an authentic Finnish sauna, a cold bath and a temperature-adjustable heated pool, so you can self-loyly and then cool off in an infinity chair, along with an all-weather dining space, bath, toilet and kitchen. Dinner is a glamping BBQ starring Kumamoto's Aka-ushi beef, with a bring-your-own room-only plan and a morning set also available. It is about 30 minutes from the Mashiki-Kumamoto-Kuko IC.
