This is a set of six private dog villas in the Sennan area of Izumisano, Osaka. Every villa accepts dogs, and central Osaka is under an hour away, which keeps the journey short for dogs that travel badly.
There are no particular breed restrictions; everything from the smallest to the largest is accepted. Each villa is a self-contained private space, designed with dogs new to travel, and owners on their first trip with one, in mind.
Each villa has a private garden of more than 40 square metres plus its own terrace. It works as the cooling-off space for the sauna, or as somewhere to hold a BBQ when the weather turns. If you have a dog with you, the same 40-odd square metres becomes a private dog run, laid with natural turf.
Adjoining that garden are a private sauna and an open-air bath belonging to the room. Kitchens are induction, and there is a covered BBQ space and parking.
On site there is also a dog kindergarten, Comfy. A lodging with a kindergarten attached is unusual even in the Kansai region, and it means you can raise questions about your dog while you are staying.
