One Story is a sauna-equipped private villa on the shore of Izumozaki in Niigata, just a 10-second walk from the Sea of Japan and limited to two groups per day. Large windows and a terrace look out over the sea, where the sunset is a highlight, and you can choose between two 1LDK rooms of 85.5 sqm each, the blue-toned 'Sea Room' and the orange 'Sunset Room', both finished in solid wood and fossil-coral plaster and sleeping up to five guests. The rare earthen dome-shaped sauna, which also allows a warm tile bath, is available to guests as an option. With a kitchen, washroom and washer-dryer on hand, dinner is free to arrange from options such as BBQ catering, local-seafood set meals or French hors d'oeuvres. Pets are not permitted, and it is about a 9-minute drive from JR Izumozaki Station.
