SIDE-BY-SIDE DOGCOTTAGE stands at Shinchi in Ichinomiya, Chosei, Chiba, a town facing the Pacific, and is a private villa for guests travelling with dogs. There are four buildings, each a different type, about 90 minutes from central Tokyo by car.
Type A works in orange, Type B in a bright yellow, Type C has two bedrooms and suits groups, and Type D comes with a dog run of up to 100 tsubo. Each villa sleeps a maximum of five.
There are no restrictions on breed or number, so large dogs and multi-dog households are fine. Every villa has its own dog run, so there is never another dog to work around. A good range of pet amenities is provided.
Each villa is let whole and comes with the dog run, a wood deck, a kitchen space and bedrooms. Wi-Fi covers the whole property, and parking is free for two cars per group.
Ichinomiya was the surfing venue for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. The climate is easy through the year and there are still paddy fields, farmland and woods around, which makes it a place suited to spending your time walking a dog.
