A whole-house rental that opened in March 2021 at Nagakura in Karuizawa, Nagano, at around 1,000 metres of elevation. The concept is a retreat for adults, and as the name suggests it aims at a space as relaxed as a house and as indulgent as a villa. One group per day.
There are several houses, each with its own character. Villa A is the largest at 184 square metres with four bedrooms. Villa B has a sauna. Others include a luxury type at 127 sqm with three bedrooms, a barrier-free type at 128 sqm with three, an Asama-view type at 135 sqm with four, a foot-bath type at 137 sqm with four, and a hinoki-bath type at 135 sqm with four, so you choose by preference. Every house has a wood stove.
Check-in is contact-free. Wi-Fi, parking for three cars per house, a BBQ stand and a popIn Aladdin 2 are provided. Dogs can stay.
A corporate retreat plan is also offered, which makes the property usable for company training or offsites. Rates start at 9,500 yen per person on the standard room-only plan with nine adults.
