A one-group-per-day villa by the shore at Ichinomiya in Chosei District, Chiba, on the outer Boso coast. The grounds run to 350 tsubo, roughly 1,157 square metres, and the interior is done in marine white and blue.
The garden holds a pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a wooden deck for BBQ, with enough room for children and dogs to run freely. There is a trampoline too. Indoors you will find a bar counter and wine cooler, a kitchen and a tatami room, and in the evening the private lounge AO is available.
There are three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, one with two singles and two doubles, and one with two singles. The tatami room takes three single futons, bringing capacity to twelve. Pets may come too.
The beach is about three minutes on foot and central Tokyo about 80 minutes by car. From Tokyo Station, the Wakashio limited express reaches Kazusa-Ichinomiya in about 60 minutes, or 75 minutes on the regular JR line. There is Wi-Fi and a work space, and free parking for eight cars. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out before 10:00. Rates change with the season and the day of the week, so enquire directly.
