Appi no Mori Glamping operates during the green season within Appi Kogen, one of Tohoku's largest mountain resorts in Hachimantai, Iwate. Set on a high plateau, it lets you feel the cool highland breeze by day and take in a sky full of stars at night, and there is a dedicated pet tent site for guests staying with dogs. Dinner is a hotel-quality BBQ, with a casual daytime lunch-BBQ option also available. During your stay you can enjoy resort activities such as the off-leash Appi Forest dog run, trout fishing at the Makiba pond, gondola rides up to the 1,304 m summit of Mt. Maemori, e-bikes and tennis, and unwind afterwards in the open-air Shirakaba no Yu hot spring.
