Imigre is a seaside stay in Himi, Toyama, born in 2018 as a restaurant you can stay at, with six ocean-view guestrooms and seaside glamping in Modern and Natural styles, each dome with two double beds plus a sofa bed, air conditioning and an en-suite unit bath. Every room and every restaurant seat looks out over Toyama Bay, and on a clear day the 3,000 m Tateyama Range appears across the sea, one of the world's three great vistas. The tiered, curved-counter theatre-style restaurant serves French lunches and dinners built on Himi seafood such as winter yellowtail and local Himi beef, with a fisherman-style Japanese breakfast, while the glamping stay centres on a local-ingredient BBQ with free-flow drinks included throughout the stay. There is no on-site hot spring, but guests receive a free pass to a nearby bathing facility. It is about 10 minutes by car from JR Himi Station and about 5 minutes from the Himi-kita IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
