A hot-spring inn in the Chirihama Onsen area of Hakui at the base of the Noto Peninsula, a three-minute walk from the beach. On about 5,000 tsubo it has 18 rooms and six cottages, an amber-colored spring called Hamanasu no Yu, and kaiseki dinners of local nodoguro and Noto beef with free-flow drinks.

Hotel Yuka stands in the Chirihama Onsen area of Hakui, at the base of the Noto Peninsula, a three-minute walk from Chirihama Beach, the only stretch of sand in Japan you can drive along. On grounds of about 5,000 tsubo it offers 18 rooms in the main building and six detached cottages, in five room types ranging from Superior cottages with their own free-flowing open-air hot-spring bath to Japanese-modern rooms with Simmons beds. Its own amber-colored spring, Hamanasu no Yu, wells up from 1,300 m underground and is prized as a skin-beautifying water, and an 18 m indoor pool also opens in summer. Dinner is a kaiseki course of Noto specialties such as nodoguro and Noto beef, served with more than 100 kinds of free-flow drinks.
