こしかの温泉グランピング
A glamping site fed by the famed hot springs of Kirishima, Kagoshima, where every unit has its own free-flowing open-air onsen bath. In what it calls Japan's first all-private-space setup, guests enjoy the skin-beautifying waters, a tent sauna and cold bath, and a bonfire, with a Kagoshima BBQ of black pork and chicken sashimi, and dog-friendly units too.

Run by the Koshikano Onsen ryokan in Kirishima, Kagoshima (a healing hot-spring inn first opened in 1978), this glamping site pairs a self-flowing, skin-beautifying spring and natural carbonated water with what it calls Japan's first setup where every unit is a private space with its own free-flowing open-air onsen bath, usable 24 hours. There are three types: the Suite Glamping (up to 6) with an air-conditioned indoor dining space and sauna, the Standard Glamping (up to 6) with a deck-terrace dining space, and the two-guest Onsen-Ryokan Glamping (rooms 101-106) that adds dining and a bonfire space to the ryokan rooms. Many units have a tent sauna, cold bath and bonfire space, and some welcome large dogs up to 40kg or small dogs. Dinner is a Kagoshima BBQ of tare-marinated short rib, black pork, chicken sashimi, grilled seafood and black-pork takikomi rice, with hot sandwiches for breakfast, and free shuttles run from Kagoshima Airport and Kokubu Station.
