A one-villa auberge in the Amanohashidate area of Miyazu, Kyoto. It has two in-room natural hot springs, the Kin (gold) and Gin (silver) baths, overlooking the Sea of Japan, two saunas and a summer-only private pool, with a chef-attended dinner (on select dates) and glamping BBQ.

Auberge Villa KUON is a private, whole-villa auberge set on high ground overlooking Miyazu Bay in the Amanohashidate area of Kyoto. Guests can enjoy meals, hot springs and the pool without leaving the villa, which sleeps up to eight (including children sharing beds) and includes a counter-style private dining room, a living room and a bedroom with Simmons beds. Two rare natural hot springs are on offer: the reddish, iron-rich open-air Kin bath and the silky, beauty-water Gin indoor bath, both with sea views, alongside a cabin sauna and a steam sauna added in 2026. Dinners use seafood from the Tango Peninsula and vegetables from the villa's own farm, finished before you by a private chef on select dates, with premium-ingredient or bring-your-own BBQ also available, plus a private pool in summer. It is about two hours from the Keihanshin area; a shuttle from Amanohashidate Station can be booked up to three days ahead.
