This glamping site sits on the grounds of Spa Resort Hawaiians, one of Japan's largest hot-spring theme parks, in Iwaki, Fukushima. True to Mauna (Hawaiian for mountain), it offers private space with distant mountain ridgelines, in four room types, all whole-unit rentals set on view decks; the Wood Cabin type has its own toilet and shower room. Dinner is a glamping BBQ built around Fukushima produce, including tender Fukushima beef, served as a one-night, two-meal stay with items like seafood cocktail, a Fukushima-vegetable pot salad and grilled rice balls, plus a kids' menu. Each unit has its own campfire space, fireworks are sold for a dedicated area, and shared toilets, a shower building and a large bath are provided. Stays include admission to Hawaiians for pools, hot springs and Polynesian shows; it is about 7 minutes from the Iwaki-Yumoto IC or a 10-minute taxi ride from Yumoto Station.
