Tucked into a small forest beside Enakyo gorge and the Oi Dam in Ena, Gifu, NAGI dog glamping ena is a private retreat designed for staying with your dog, about an hour by car from Nagoya. The glamping cabins keep a comfortable sense of privacy and pair with a large all-weather outdoor living deck, so the space works even in the rainy season. Dinner is a choice between a course-style BBQ (smoked salmon and cheese starters, seafood ajillo, Hida beef, Miura pork and Ena chicken, finished with pot-cooked rice, gohei-mochi and marshmallows) and, in winter, a Miura-pork shabu-shabu hotpot in a soba-broth base. The whole grounds are a dog-friendly area with a dog run, plus activities like coffee roasting, smoking and a summer dog pool.
