On Sesoko Island, reached by car across a bridge from the Okinawa mainland in Motobu, Ocean Terrace is one of the island's largest glamping resorts, with eight dome tents and eight cabins for 16 units in all, close to the emerald water and white sand of Sesoko Beach. Room types are the four-person Standard Cabin, the six-person Deluxe Cabin and the 8 m Sky Dome, each with its own shower, toilet and private terrace. Dinner is a BBQ of grain-fed beef, Agu pork shoulder, pork toro and chicken skewers, and guests on a meal plan can pick as many seasonal vegetables as they like at the 'vegetable farm', while breakfast is a box of Okinawan home cooking such as jushi rice balls and rafute.
