Miyakojima lies 300 km southwest of Okinawa's main island, 45 minutes by air from Naha, an island raised from coral reef. Its white sand is made of coral fragments and is fine to the touch, and the water runs through gradations of deep blue and emerald green. Diving in, you find coral and fish of every colour.
Facilities include an infinity pool, a sauna, a jet bath, BBQ, a full kitchen, Wi-Fi and parking for six cars. There are three bedrooms and capacity for eight; from the ninth guest, 15,000 yen per person per night is added.
Miyako Airport is about 25 to 30 minutes away by car, roughly 17 km.Check-in is between 15:00 and 18:00, with check-out at 11:00. Rates run from 130,000 to 150,000 yen per night.
