A four-groups-a-day glamping site on a clear-stream riverside in Keihoku, Kyoto. Whole-cabin villas and a log-house lodge offer in-room baths overlooking the stream, an outdoor tent sauna and private dining, and dinner is a Kyoto-style charcoal barbecue with Kameoka beef and grilled eel.

A four-groups-a-day glamping site beside a clear stream in Keihoku, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, about an hour by car from central Kyoto in an area known as 'the forest of Kyoto'. It has whole-cabin villas (three rooms, up to five guests) and a log-house lodge, all facing the stream, with the villas built to a universal design that is wheelchair-accessible. Each cabin has an in-room bath drawn from Keihoku's soft natural spring water with a view of the stream, plus a spacious living room, a kitchen and a private dining space, and there is an outdoor tent sauna where you can cool off in the river. Dinner is a charcoal grilling barbecue of Keihoku ingredients such as A5 Kameoka beef, Tamba chicken and charcoal-grilled eel, with a hands-free day-use barbecue and the signature nagashi-somen also available.
