A glamping resort on a hilltop overlooking Tsurigasaki Beach, an Olympic surfing venue, in Ichinomiya, Chiba. Alongside eight dome tents in five styles, there is HANARE, a one-group-a-day private villa with a rooftop open-air bath and tent sauna, and hotel rooms with their own kitchen space; the domes have air conditioning and private showers and toilets, and some are dog-friendly with a private dog run. The top terrace has a heart-shaped pool with Pacific views and a private-use sauna, and meals are a lavish BBQ of Chiba produce such as local sirloin steak and seafood, with activities from smoking and popcorn-making to surfing, SUP and horse riding. It is about 90 minutes by car from central Tokyo, or a short taxi ride from Kazusa-Ichinomiya Station.
