A two-groups-per-day rental on about 20,000 square metres of green land at Kembutsu in Tateyama, Chiba. There are two buildings: the main house, with a 7 m atrium, sleeping six and up to ten, and the ANNEX in modern resort style. Using both, up to sixteen guests can stay. There are three bedrooms.
Past the entrance the living room opens into its high atrium. Sunlight comes in generously through large windows, and outside an unobstructed sky changes through the hours.
The garden holds Cairns Garden Dining, a space for BBQ, with deck-timber chairs and a stone table where you gather around charcoal. All the equipment is provided and free to use at any point in the stay. Ingredients can be ordered as an option.
The grounds also hold a tennis court, a basketball hoop and a trampoline, shared between the two houses. There is an original blend coffee created with Blowa Coffee Roasters, a local favourite: specialty beans only, built on organic East Timorese beans and a dark roast of naturally processed Brazilian.
Wi-Fi, a full kitchen and parking are provided. The sea is about five minutes on foot. Tokyo is about an hour and a half by car via the Aqua-Line, and JR Tateyama Station about 15 minutes.You may enter from 15:00 and must leave by 10:00.
