ZUKKU NO MORI is a dog cottage limited to four groups a day, set on a 7,000-square-meter site in Katori, Chiba, about 90 minutes' drive from central Tokyo. Every unit is designed for dogs and their owners, with a choice of the Black, White and Brown rooms (each for three guests) or a Trailer Room (four guests), and each comes with a bedroom, dining space, bathroom, a natural-grass private dog run and a barrel sauna for self-loyly and open-air cooling. Meals star handmade pizza baked in an Italian-imported oven and fresh cheese from the on-site cheese workshop, with authentic BBQ of wagyu sirloin and Boso pork plus options such as jingisukan, shabu-shabu and cheese fondue; a bring-your-own plan is also available, and breakfast is a panini morning set. It is about 7 minutes from the Sawara-Katori IC.
