In Hokota, Ibaraki, about 90 minutes from the Tokyo area, this is a well-equipped glamping resort. Stays range across four kinds of 7-meter dome tent (Standard, Garden, Premium and Dog Run), plus building-type lodgings added in 2026: a Suite Villa (a collaboration room stocked with ReFa beauty products) and a Dog Premium Cottage. Every unit has an all-weather dining space and its own shower and toilet, reassuring for beginners and families. At the center is a guests-only 10m x 5m pool, with a shared outdoor barrel sauna and jacuzzi beside it, so you can cool off in the pool after the sauna and gaze at the stars from the jacuzzi; the Premium Dome and Dog Premium Cottage have their own sauna and jacuzzi too. Dinner is a glamping BBQ of Japanese black beef, local pork, chicken and seafood, with a free vegetable marche of Hokota produce, and there are free drinks in a clear dome, a visiting-chef option and a bring-your-own room-only plan. It is about 90 minutes by car from Tokyo, or 20 minutes from the Itako-Kashima IC, with free pick-up by reservation and an EV charger on site.
