A one-group-per-day private villa facing the inlet at Moroiso in Misaki, Miura, Kanagawa, at the southwest tip of the peninsula. It opened on 18 July 2025 and takes one to six guests, not counting preschool children.
From a horizon lit at dawn through a madder evening to a sky full of stars overhead, the villa takes in the sea and greenery of Miura. Soft light comes through the large windows and the sound of surf never quite stops. An open living room and several bedrooms keep a comfortable distance from one another, and a lawn garden with sea breeze running through it becomes where everyone gathers.
The grounds hold a fire pit and a proper BBQ grill. By day you grill local seafood and vegetables, and at night you listen to the wood crack and look up. The sea directly in front is a SUP spot, zero minutes away with a board under your arm, and while waiting for waves you get Mount Fuji and the setting sun overlapping.
The dining kitchen comes with a full set of cookware and appliances, and there is Wi-Fi, a washer-dryer, an outdoor shower, heating and cooling, and a water server. A tent sauna is in preparation, and BBQ, the fire pit and SUP are used as options.Rooms open at 15:00 and must be left by 11:00. Central Tokyo is about 90 minutes away by car. Rates start at 139,000 yen per night.
