Six villas on Osakishimojima, reached by the Tobishima Kaido, at Ocho in Kure City, Hiroshima. Each sleeps four, and every room looks out on the Seto Inland Sea.
There are two types. Four have a sauna and a private pool: 2.5 by 7 metres, 120 cm deep and mildly heated, with a barrel sauna standing beside it. From December to March the water cannot be heated and turns cold, so in that period it serves as the sauna's plunge; in sharp cold snaps it may not warm up either. The other two have a dog run, so your dog can stay.
Every villa has an ocean-view open-air bath fed by the property's own hot-spring source. Beds are two semi-doubles and one double, on Simmons mattresses.
Outdoors there is a Weber gas grill and a fire pit in the garden. A kitchen and free parking are provided. Access is by car across the Tobishima Kaido from Hiroshima or Kure.
