A one-group-per-day villa on high ground at Motobu. Architect Keisuke Kawaguchi designed a space without boundaries, holding a 12-metre heated infinity pool, a terrace sauna and a standing cold bath.

A one-group-per-day whole-house villa on high ground at Gushiken in Motobu, Okinawa, the district that holds the Churaumi Aquarium. You never cross paths with other guests; the space is yours from check-in to check-out.
The architect was Keisuke Kawaguchi, who built a space without boundaries, so that indoors you remain inside the rhythm of the surroundings. Sea, sky and forest and the building answer one another here.
Outside there is a 12-metre heated infinity pool and a terrace open to the night sky. The sauna faces the horizon, and afterwards comes a sharply cold standing plunge; one deep breath and everything resets.
Inside there is a small kitchen and a drying room, and every room has air conditioning, a safe, an air purifier and USB outlets. EV charging and parking for two cars are provided.
There are two bedrooms.You settle in at 15:00 and stay through to 19:00 the next day. Rates start at 182,000 yen per night.
