Resort villas on the heights of Kourijima in Nakijin Village, Kunigami District, Okinawa. Every unit is let as a whole house, and each follows its own concept. The main building holds three types and the annexe one type of 140 square metres.
Every unit has an indoor bath and an outdoor private pool. The pool can be used after dark, so a slow soak at night is possible. From each rooftop terrace you look out over the emerald sea spanned by the Kouri Bridge, and at night over a full sky of stars.
Interiors are white-based, furnished with pieces chosen from around the world. Appliances include BALMUDA, there is a kitchen, and a free drink service covers everything from Okinawan soft drinks to alcohol. Check-in is self-service, so you can come and go without meeting staff.
Naha Airport is about an hour and a half away by car: head north on Route 58, join the Okinawa Expressway at Naha IC toward Nago, exit at Kyoda, rejoin Route 58, pass through central Nago and take Route 505 onto Kourijima. Guest parking is free.
