What sets the place apart is where it sits. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is about four minutes away by car, close enough to arrive before opening, see it before the crowds and be back by midday. A convenience store is four minutes on foot, so topping up drinks or breakfast does not mean getting the car out.
