Whole-house villas that opened in earnest in July 2024 at Aoshima in Miyazaki City, a stretch that still carries a tropical resort feel. There are three: A and B have four bedrooms and sleep eight each, C has three bedrooms and sleeps five. Book all three and up to 24 guests can stay.
Each villa has its own patio and private sauna. The sauna is built from good timber, and after the heat there is a cold bath to bring you down.
The kitchen holds a BALMUDA oven-microwave and electric kettle, and furniture and appliances generally have been chosen with care. Villas A and B have grills for glamping-style BBQ. Parking is two cars per villa.
The sea is four minutes on foot. Miyazaki Bougainvillea Airport is about 15 minutes away by car, and even from the cities the journey runs to around two hours. Rates run from 81,000 to 117,000 yen per villa before tax.
