A one-group-per-day whole-house villa at Aoshima-nishi in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki. It combines a pool, a sauna and golf simulation, which makes it a place for spending time actively.
The pool is AQUAWAVE, an active current pool that can be heated. The flow adjusts across eighteen settings, so both swimming and walking work. The sauna climbs to 110C, and the Dr.ICE cooling unit drops as low as 1C. Having that range to yourself is the point of the place.
The golf simulator is a GDR unit by GOLFZONE. Cameras front and back record your swing so lines can be drawn and swings compared, and the video saved to a dedicated card.
There are five beds: four by Serta and one domestic water bed. With rental futons the villa takes up to ten guests. BBQ equipment is free to use. For daytime use it can hold up to 30 people, which suits after-parties and small events.
The interior follows a West Coast Californian line. There is a kitchen, a washing machine and parking, and check-in and check-out are handled by smart lock. Miyazaki Airport is about 12 minutes away by car and JR Aoshima Station about ten on foot. Rates start at 167,000 yen per night.
