The building itself is about 26 years old, kept and reworked into lodging that sits with its surroundings. In a space of solid cedar, hinoki and cherry, there is the luxury of doing nothing.
The bath is a hinoki tub. There is a wood stove, and BBQ takes place on the wooden deck. Fast Wi-Fi and free parking are provided.
The sights nearby are close at hand: Aoshima Shrine and the Devil's Washboard are about ten minutes by car, and the Kisakihama surf point about five. Miyazaki Airport is about 30 minutes away.From 15:00 until 11:00 the next day, the place is yours.
