Me mo Inu mo is a private villa in Chosei Village, Chiba, built for staying with your dog. It was the village's first welcome-dog property and takes two groups a day, about 90 minutes from central Tokyo.
Each room comes with its own dog run of more than 130 square metres, among the largest in Chiba. The rooms themselves reach a maximum floor area of over 340 square metres, so several dogs, or large ones, are not cramped. The living and dining space is generous and there is a bath you can use at any hour.
The private pool at each villa includes an area set aside for dogs, so the swimming is not just for the owners.
There are no breed restrictions. Dogs from the smallest to the largest are accepted, up to three at a time, and there is no pet charge, which matters if you have several.
Meals come two ways: a French course served to one group a day, or an outdoor BBQ built around steak from Togane Steak MOG, a well-known local restaurant, with seasonal and local ingredients alongside.
Nearby are places you can visit with a dog, such as the Kujukuri Herb Garden, close enough to fold into a drive.
