Whole-house villas on the shore at Anto in Mikuni, Sakai City, Fukui, close to the Tojinbo cliffs. Every unit has a private pool and underfloor heating.
The units differ in character. One is the standard type, with a pool and a sauna set up for self-loyly. Another centres on a jacuzzi bath and a heated stone bath, working the body through swings between hot and cool. A third is pet-friendly, simply designed, for time spent with your dog. The official site also announces a fourth unit, with a stone bath plus an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and all-weather BBQ facilities, scheduled to open in spring 2026.
From the sauna you can watch the sun set into the Sea of Japan. Meals are warm dishes built on Fukui produce. Wi-Fi, parking and EV charging are provided.
JR Awara-Onsen Station is about 25 minutes away by car, Kanazu IC on the Hokuriku Expressway about 35, and Komatsu Airport about an hour.
