Glanz is a seaside glamping site facing Kugushi Beach in Mihama, Fukui, just steps from the shore. Its 7-meter dome tents (for up to six) all face the sea, with a double-layer, well-insulated structure and air conditioning, and each deck has a private viewing area and a BBQ space fitted with air conditioning and a fridge. A 28-tsubo villa for up to ten and a dog-friendly dome tent called Cinnamon, complete with a built-in cage, are also available. Dinner is a glamping BBQ of fresh seafood - Japanese black wagyu plus prawns, turban shells and scallops - and you may bring your own ingredients, with a grill rental for those who skip the meal plan. Matsubara and Kugushi beaches lie to either side for swimming and marine sports, and a grassy dog run is free for both overnight and day-BBQ guests. It is about 10 minutes from the Mihama IC and 20 minutes from the Tsuruga IC; check the official site for rates and availability.
