GFC Echizen PARADESIA is the flagship property of the members-only resort club GFC, set on the Echizen coast in Fukui with the Sea of Japan spreading out below. The flower-filled grounds hold a variety of lodgings (smart villas, Balinese- and chinoiserie-style villas, a louver house, a dome house and a hotel-style main building) alongside the French restaurant Parado, a Balinese esthetic salon, a natural hot-spring open-air bath overlooking the sea, an infinity pool, a barbecue garden and a dog run. Pet-friendly detached villas and a dog-washing station are also available. Access is via the Tsuruga IC on the Hokuriku Expressway, or by taxi or local bus plus shuttle from JR Fukui Station; stays are for members, so check the official site for conditions and availability.
