Five cottages of glamping on the Shigaraki plateau. Each carries the name of a flower and follows its own theme, and you choose between a wood-loyly sauna, an open-air bath or a pool view.

A cottage-style glamping property that opened in October 2021 in the natural surroundings of the Shigaraki plateau at Nagano in Shigaraki, Koka City, Shiga. Five well-appointed cottages stand here, each taken by a single group.
Each carries the name of a flower and follows its own theme. One has a private wood-fired loyly sauna, another an open-air bath, another a view over the pool, so you choose by preference. At the centre of the site is a pool area, for swimming or for sitting alongside.
Meals are a course prepared by three chefs working in Japanese, Western and Chinese traditions, built on seasonal ingredients.
By day there is new green or autumn colour among the trees; at night, a sky full of stars. A free shuttle service is offered to guests.
Shigaraki IC is about seven minutes away by car and Shigaraki Station about five. Osaka is roughly 60 minutes and Kyoto about 30. Rates start at 92,000 yen per night.
