GLAMP BEACH sits above Takato-Kohama Beach, one of Japan's 100 best shores, in Takahagi, Ibaraki, with just two private dome tents. Each high-ceilinged, air-conditioned dome has a covered dining space, a private shower room and a toilet alongside, so guests can take in the white sand and blue sea in comfort. Dinner is a beachside glamping BBQ of Ibaraki ingredients, offered in deluxe or standard courses, with a choice of handmade-burger, samgyetang or Western breakfasts. Guests may also use the scenic baths at the sister site Glamping Village IBARAKI, about 20 minutes away by car, along with a sea-view outdoor sauna (paid). It is about 10 minutes from the Takahagi IC and a 5-minute taxi ride from Takahagi Station; check the official site for rates and availability.
