A private dog cottage resort in Miyazu, Kyoto, near Amanohashidate on the 'Kyoto by the Sea' coast. The round cottages are rented whole (two 2-bed and one 4-bed cottage, each sleeping up to five), and every building has its own private dog run, an in-room bath fed by the Gin Onsen natural hot spring (with a separate tub for dogs), and a 6-meter private pool divided into people and dog sections. Dinner is a BBQ of Tango-region ingredients such as Japanese black beef steak, live abalone and local-fish acqua pazza, served in a covered all-weather dining space; a course dinner at the dog-friendly restaurant Hoshiumi and a bring-your-own-ingredients plan are also available. The beach is about five minutes on foot, and the site is roughly 20 minutes by car from the Yosa-Amanohashidate IC.
