GLAMPROOK しまなみ

GLAMPROOK Shimanami is an experience-focused retreat on Umashima, a tiny island of fewer than ten residents in the middle of the Seto Inland Sea, about 15 minutes by car across the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge from Imabari. Accommodation comes in two styles: shoreside COCOON HOUSE tents for four with their own outdoor living space, and ocean-view hotel rooms, including superior twins with a semi-open-air bath. Stays are all-inclusive, covering a course dinner of Seto Inland delicacies, a Japanese or Western breakfast, free-flow drinks at a sea-facing bar, and island experiences such as viewing the whirlpools or exploring caves. Private cars cannot enter the island, so guests park at Imabari Port and are brought over by a complimentary shuttle car or pleasure boat (reservation required).
