Set within Shiki-no-Sato Park (Food Hunter Park) in Wakayama City, Kanata-no-Sato is a resort of 20 whole-house villas in harmony with the satoyama landscape. There are two types: ten dog villas you can share with your pet, and ten villas each with a private sauna, both also available in a separated bedroom-and-living layout. Dinner is a grill terrace on the ground-floor deck featuring Kumano beef, Ume pork, scallops and turban shells, with a mess-tin picnic-style breakfast. A barrel sauna with a cold bath and outdoor-air space, a BBQ site and a dog park round out the grounds, and day-use BBQ and sauna are also available.
