RITA'S RANCH sits by Lake Wami in Minami-Karuizawa (Gunma), with only three glamping bell tents, two 5m bell tents (up to 3 guests each) and one 4m lotus bell tent, set well apart in the forest, for up to eight guests across the site. Dogs are welcome in every tent and everywhere except the sauna. Dinner features local Akagi wagyu, Fuku-buta pork and Akagi chicken, chosen as a charcoal BBQ or an iron-pot grill (sukiyaki or shabu-shabu), with a bento-box breakfast. A private Finnish-style wood sauna with self-löyly, a fire pit for outdoor cooling-off, a full natural-turf dog run and a cafe & shop round out the grounds; note there is no bath, only shower rooms. About four minutes from the Usui-Karuizawa IC.
