GLAMPING HILLS AKAGI is a 16-unit glamping resort set on a hill at the foot of Mt. Haruna in Akagi-machi, Shibukawa, Gunma, overlooking the night lights of Shibukawa and Ikaho and a sky full of stars. Guests can choose from five styles of dome tent, or a hotel-like Private Cabin with heating and cooling, its own kitchen, shower room and bedroom. Each unit has a covered, all-weather dining terrace, and dinner is a local-produce BBQ that comes with cheese fondue. Inclusive touches include free-flow drinks from check-in until 19:50 and rental play gear for the lawn, while a sauna limited to two groups a day (swimwear required) and dog-friendly rooms are also available.
