Facing Anori Beach in Ise-Shima, Shima City, Mie, Ten Sea is an ocean glamping site with a superb outlook over deep-blue sea, the horizon and, at night, a sky full of stars. Rooms come in three types: the Suite Ocean Dome, a sea-view dome tent with a connecting room (capacity 2-8); the Ocean Dome with its own garden space (capacity 2-5); and the Ocean Room on the second floor of the main building (capacity 2-4) - all with air conditioning and a private bathroom and toilet, so beginners and women can stay with ease. Dinner is a seafood-forward glamping BBQ of half an Ise lobster, appa clams and domestic beef, eaten in an all-weather dining space, with a room-only plan for bringing your own ingredients and an original hot-sandwich breakfast; an evening campfire corner rounds out the stay. Nearby Ise-Shima marine activities include surfing, snorkeling, SUP and boat fishing. It is about 10 minutes by car from Ugata Station; check the official site for rates and availability.
