A glamping site in the vast Wakka Forest at the foot of the Hidaka Mountains in Shimizu, Tokachi, Hokkaido, produced by the local Aizawa Winery. Three dome tents and an auto-camping ground sit among 90-year-old broadleaf woodland; each seven-metre, 38-square-metre dome is a cold-climate, all-weather type said to be the first of its kind in Japan, with heating and two double beds for year-round comfort. The grounds have a private sauna hut, dog runs for small and medium dogs, and a centre house with showers, toilets, a cooking area and a shop selling the winery's rare wines and Aizawa Farm produce. It is about 15 minutes by car from the Tokachi-Shimizu IC and around an hour from Tokachi-Obihiro Airport.
