On a hillside ringed by sea and mountains in Komatsushima, Tokushima, this permanent glamping resort is supervised by Snow Peak. Its nine rooms come in three types (the Snow Peak-styled Elegance Suite and Active Suite, and a single special Executive Suite), all with panoramic ocean views, an open-air bath and a wooden deck. Dining is up to you: a BBQ on your deck, farm-to-table cooking at the 270-degree ocean-view restaurant Petit Isola, or room service, followed by a fire-side TAKIBI Lounge in the evening, using fish landed that day at the local port and freshly picked vegetables. The resort has its own private beach for fishing, beach sauna and SUP. It is at 95-3 Higashiyama, Nakata-cho, Komatsushima, with 14 free parking spaces and free pick-up by advance reservation for those arriving by public transport.
