Naruto G house +dog is a whole-house stay for guests travelling with dogs, at Mitsuishi in Naruto Town, Naruto City, Tokushima, close to the Naruto Bridge. It sleeps five.
It has a private dog run of about 470 square metres, laid with natural turf that goes easy on joints, and no chance of running into another dog. Indoors, the flooring is non-slip, cushioned and deodorising. There are no restrictions on breed or number, and amenities for dogs are provided so you can travel lighter.
Your dog can be with you anywhere in the house. A BBQ space sits on the wood deck in the courtyard, so meals happen outdoors together. At the back left of the ground floor is a compact open kitchen, and up the stairs the attic has been turned into an open loft bedroom. There is a wood stove and Wi-Fi.
For food there is a BBQ menu you can arrive empty-handed for, with the grill rental included in the set. Rice is cooked in the kitchen's rice cooker, and four kinds of natural-yeast bread come with it. You can also bring your own ingredients and grill those instead.
Check-in is self-service. You enter the door code sent after booking at the entrance, then the lead guest completes the formalities on an iPad in the living room. Under public health guidance based on the Hotel Business Act, a photograph is required for identity verification.
Kobe is about an hour and a half away, Osaka about two hours.You may enter from 15:00 and must leave by 11:00.
